The design

An eight-point star sits at the centre of an interlocking knot of bands, surrounded by smaller stars and tiny squares. Cobalt, teal and warm ochre fill the shapes on a cream ground, with fine outlines keeping every edge crisp. The pattern is symmetrical in every direction.
